The fourth generation of Maruti Suzuki Swift is set to launch in India on May 9, 2024, and select Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships have already started accepting pre-orders for a token amount of Rs 11,000. This new hatchback comes with better styling, new engine, more features, and more mileage.
The New Maruti Suzuki Swift Engine is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated Z-series petrol engine compliant with stringent BS6 emission norms, CAFÉ (Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency) Stage 2 norms and is lightweight. It also replaces the old K-series, four-cylinder engine. Additionally, the new Z-series engine may also come with mild hybrid technology. The new 2024 Maruti Swift in India will get minor cosmetic changes compared to the Japan spec version.
The new Maruti Swift 2024 is built on a massively updated HeartTech platform and measures 3860 mm in length, 1695 mm in width, and 1500 mm in height. Its interior changes are similar to those of the Franks compact crossover and Baleno hatchback. It gets a new dual-tone black/beige theme.
The new Swift gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic AC, flat-bottomed steering wheel, MID analogue dial, push-button start-stop, height-adjustable seat, rear heater duct, and reverse parking camera. The new 2024 Maruti Swift is going to be a bit more expensive with all the upgrades. Its current ex-showroom price ranges between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 9.03 lakh. The price of the soon-to-be-launched model may be higher.
