Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced its entry into the electric vehicle market by introducing its first electric model, the EVX, at the Auto Expo 2023. The car is highly anticipated and is expected to hit the market in 2025. Recently, the company tested the EVX on Indian roads and shared images of the car, revealing special details about its design and features.

The charging port is located on the front left fender, making it both practical and safe. The front-facing charger port is also likely to reduce the impact of collisions. The interior of the EVX is expected to have several advanced features, including wireless charging, front-ventilated seats, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror with an electrically adjustable driver’s seat. There is also a large touchscreen infotainment system with support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, seamless connectivity, and numerous entertainment options.

For power, the EVX will likely offer a 60 kWh battery pack that will provide a range of around 550 kilometres on a single charge. As the arrival of the Maruti Suzuki EVX in India draws nearer, the company demonstrates its commitment to electric vehicles.
