UTS Ticket Booking System Avail Online Train Ticket Booking Quickly

Online Train Ticket Booking: Indian Railways has made the UTS App available to facilitate train ticket purchases, relieving many train passengers. Through this UTS Ticket Booking App, passengers can book general or local train tickets within a certain distance from the railway station. Now, let’s know how to book a ticket.

Most people prefer train journeys when travelling long distances comfortably, such as to holy places, far-off destinations, or for family vacations. However, booking a berth on a train requires advance ticket booking. Those who need to travel at short notice often need more support due to excessive crowds near the ticket counter. The Railway Department has launched the Unreserved Ticket Booking System (UTS) app to solve this issue.

This Indian Railways UTS app, initially designed for quick ticket booking for short-distance travel, platform ticket booking, QR booking, and season ticket booking, now also offers the facility of non-suburban travel ticket booking. For journeys more than 200 km, you can book a ticket up to 3 days in advance. For journeys less than 200 km, you must purchase the ticket on the day of travel.

How to Book IRCTC Train Ticket through the UTS App

  1. To make a booking, you must download the UTS app from the Google Play Store or App Store and create an account.
  2. After logging in, select the Normal Booking section on the screen and choose between Paperless or Paper booking options.
  3. If you select the Paperless option, ensure your GPS is turned on.
  4. Next, select the station you wish to depart from and the station you want to arrive at. You will then see the available trains for your journey and their respective fares.
  5. Once you click on the train of your choice, all the details will be displayed, such as time, platform number, ticket rate, and train number.
  6. Finally, to complete your booking, select the number of passengers, type of train trip (passenger, express, super fast), and payment type.
