Mahindra Scorpio’s waiting period has been reduced significantly. According to Mahendra’s Reports for April 2024, it has been reduced from one month to two to three months. It must be said that Mahindra’s strategy worked to reduce their cars’ waiting period.
Mahindra has been diligently working to increase production and reduce the delivery waiting period for its SUVs. By the end of January 2024, the Indian automaker had significantly reduced its order backlog and delivery times. After two more months, the waiting period for some of its SUVs, including the Scorpio and Scorpio N models, has been reduced even further.
Mahindra Scorpio Waiting Period
As of April, the maximum waiting period for the entry-level Z2 diesel variant of the Scorpio N is four to five months. The waiting period for the Z2 petrol trim has been reduced by almost a month compared to earlier. Customers must wait around two to three months for the mid-spec and top-spec petrol variants and the top-spec diesel trim. The mid-spec diesel variants are available with a waiting period of around three to four months.
Mahindra Scorpio N Engine
The Mahindra Scorpio N has two engine options: a 203 hp 2.0-liter turbo petrol and a 175 hp 2.2-liter turbo diesel. Both engines have a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission option, but only the diesel engine has 4WD. The Scorpio NX’s ex-showroom price ranges from Rs. 13.60 lakh to Rs. 24.54 lakhs.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic Waiting Period
The waiting period for the entry-level Scorpio Classic S variant has been reduced from around one month to two to three months. Meanwhile, the waiting period for the top-spec Scorpio Classic S11 is four to five months.
Scorpio Classic Engine & Price
The Scorpio Classic is powered by a 132 HP, 300 Nm, 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It does not have an automatic or 4WD option. The ex-showroom prices range from Rs. 13.59 lakh to Rs. 17.35 lakh.
